A dark and damp place is never an ideal habitat for survival and growth. However, fungus do exist and grow in chaotic, yet orderly forms under such unfavorable condition and even thrive into various beautiful colors. This inspires BIKUTAMALAMIA a lot. He believes that even in difficult times, holding our faith, we can still overcome the constraints of the environment and the obstacles in life. As long as we stick to our faith, we can enjoy life as glamorously as fungus do, explore the infinite possibilities ahead of us and become one of the unique existences in the world.

On top of the unique appearance, the vibrant and gorgeous colors of fungus are also deeply attracted to BIKUTAMALAMIA, who is very color sensitive. The founder believes that color is not only a visual stimulus, but also a good medium for communication. It can foster the exchange of emotions and feelings, thereby shortening the distance between people. In this exhibition, the five pieces of artwork of BIKUTAMALAMIA send messages to everyone through painting as usual. Using personification, BIKUTAMALAMIA moves the realistic captivating colors of the protagonist of the exhibition - fungus onto the canvas. With the addition of the fantasy elves carrying magical colors, the reality is interwoven with illusions, presenting the most fascinating pictures to the audience.

Nature is full of surprises. Be it the unpredictable weather or the existence of different forms of life, with its unique gesture, various possibilities are brought to the world. Based on the diversity of fungi, a new local artist BIKUTAMALAMIA presents the glamorous colors of wild mushrooms in oil pastels before everyone’s eyes in his current exhibition - "Les champignons". With the fantasy elements added to his work, the message ‘EVERYTING IS POSSIBLE’ is implicitly conveyed.

Fungi can thrive in a dark and damp environment. Likewise, we can put our minds at ease and become physically and spiritually strong in adversity. Revealing our true colors to the world is not shameful at all.

Under the framework of social ethics, we gradually lose our original form and are only molded to fit in and survive. Perhaps the reason why we adore fungi is that they, as species of the same cate- gory, each grow dazzlingly in their own way.
